Father Christmas was also seen in Wau town on Christmas day today, thanks to the Paradise4Kids company and the ward two Member, Hon. Robin Tera.
Laughter and joy filled the streets as the children raced after the landcruiser that Father Christmas was standing on, surely with bags of candies and sweets, throwing them out and showering the children with the Christmas Festive cheer all around Wau town.
Wau Waria’s Ward Two Council Member, Robin was seen escorting Father Christmas through the residential areas in his ward, ensuring this small but significant gesture of spreading the Christmas cheer must reach as many families as possible in the community.
What’s more special about this, is that the Paradise4Kids is a charity organisation that provides shelter for kids in Wau town, it isn’t a company, but it took time out to honor the wishes of Hon.Tera and to also part take in bringing Christmas joy to the children.
“It’s been a long time since we last saw Father Christmas used to drive a around Wau town in a fire truck years ago, and after so many years, we see him return today,” Babuya Amol, a visibly emotional father expressed while watching his children enjoying themselves in the moment.
“Let’s revive this celebration and make it an annual event for our town,” he pleaded.
This year’s Christmas Day held special significance, because the Wau Urban LLG has officially split from being Wau/Bulolo Urban LLG.
It is with this importance that the ward 2 member, Hon. Tera wasted no time activating in his role, to organise for Father Christmas to tour the streets of Wau town once again making 2025, a special year marked in the calendar of the new district of Wau Waria, in the truest form of Christmas spirit with joy, peace, love, laughter and companionship.
